look out!
Good ol' Rick Santelli let it rip on live tv yesterday. Does he make a good point? Well, that is for you to decide.
I think the term loser is a bit harsh but yeah, where is our tax money going again? I need a new frame, maybe they can sweep the printing room floor and send me the scraps. And for the record, Jefferson rolled over in his grave a long time ago.
Turn waste into art! Art opening today at the Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder. JMB sculpture will be on exhibit. And to think you had no use for your used inner tubes...Stans needs one of these sculptures in their building.
Many a blown tubes once destined for the landfill, have found a new home thanks to Jessica's artistic vision.
Some other samples at Dirt Rag.
And if you like the strong IPA, check out theMaharaja release party on Saturday. Not quite one of those wine and cheese parties but I am sure it will be a great time. The Avery guys know how to brew plus, they are right off the bike bike path east of town so pedal on over.

Chains not change
I have been slacking here but the time has come to put pencil to paper and say something, anything...
What I can say, is that we were blessed with some rather pleasant riding weather last week. I chased the coattails of sunshine almost every day after work. I never caught up with it but I sure had fun trying.
For 2009, I hoping to make some change of my own.
I needed a warm weather photo after the chilly last couple days... I do hope to be in the foreground of the CB mountains again next yr at some point but I will not be wearing last year's colors. There was some uncertainty on my part with the upcoming season so I decided to start my own team. I wish the Bach riders all the best in 2009! As for me, I'm currently in sponsorship negotiations with Liquor Mart and Fascinations but like the TARP plan, things are not turning out quite as I had hoped. Perhaps a Cutter kit would suffice? The white undershirt, that's how we rolled it on the Baltimore City watershed trails and it worked just fine.
Speaking of Mary's land, it looks as tough MD will be represented in Durango next September for the SSWC09!! I am sure 2010 will be in a far off land so we must revel in the fact that CO people got the nod for 2009. It has been a long time since I have been to Durango so looking forward to that as well. I spent a chunk time there back in the day and I'm not kidding about back in the day. Barracuda was in business last I lived there if that helps with the timeline...Either way, it is sure to be a great event and probably more than a little crazy. Be there or be rectangular.
Best of luck to everyone heading down to Tucson to ride your hearts out for 24hrs. A fellow by the name of Ed, who I occasionally still see walking the streets in town, used to tell me "don't ever go to Tucson." He said this often and this is all he ever said to me. Needless to say, I am listening to him.
Who wants to be a CEO?
3 day weekend around the corner!
